July Racing Carnival
Grafton's famous July Racing Carnival is renowned as the pinnacle of country racing in Australia.
Its reputation has evolved over nearly a century, built on the Clarence River Jockey Club's ability to promote and stage a carnival in the truest sense of the word.
The CRJC presents a week of quality racing in one of Australia's finest cities - and that is perhaps the intrinsic element that sets the July Racing Carnival apart from other major country events.

For one week in July, Grafton switches into carnival mode with a range of racing functions and entertainment which caters for all tastes.
Combine the festivities with Grafton's exceptional riverine atmosphere and famous winter climate and it's easy to understand why the July carnival is widely regarded as the Mecca of NSW country racing.
