Fleur Henley has started the new season in good form already scoring two winners in the first few weeks.
The first success came at Grafton on Coutts Cup Day when Gravitation scored a solid victory in the Maiden 1205m.
Ridden by Matt McGuren Gravitation settled well back in the field before rounding the field up on the point of the home turn to sustain a searching run down the outside to win well.
Camp Henley’s next winner was in the time honoured Rousillon 1515m at Lismore when Starzam led throughout to win.
Ridden by Ben Looker Starzam made light work of his tricky gate working across the face of the field to find the top with ease and dictate the tempo establishing a winning break on the point of the home turn and although the opposition chased gamely Starzam was never in danger of defeat.
It was the second feature win for the Starzam since he joined the Henley yard in late 2024 having added the Sawtell Cup 1600m to his CV in June.
