I consider this one of the most important announcements of any Racing year so I would like to confirm the the Clarence River Jockey Club will again be hosting the retired jockeys reunion day in conjunction with the race meeting on Saturday September 2nd.
All retired jockeys are invited to attend and are indeed very welcome.
In addition this year we will have a special celebration for the retirement of leading Northern Rivers jockey Stephen Traecey who as many would suspect slipped silently into retirement at the end of the last licencing period.
So come along meet up with old mates or even make new ones.
All you have to do is contact the club let them know you are coming for catering needs we will even shout you a drink or two.
Of course entry is free to all retired jockeys and their friends.
