The Anzac weekend saw a number of Grafton based trainers travelling all over the place in search of winners.
Coffs Harbour, Kempsey, Murwillumbah and Port Macquarie were all on the GPS however only one trainer was able to bring up number one.
Jason Reilly was in the winners circle when Some Girls scored a very impressive victory in the Maiden 1450m at Kempsey on Anzac Day.
Ridden by Jenny Duggan Some Girls settled in last place a couple lengths from the body of the field before Duggan started to slide forward from the 800m.
Once heads were turned for home Some Girls was already signaling danger to her opposition as she rounded up the leaders by the point of the home turn.
In the straight Some Girls raced right away to win by an ever increasing five lengths margin.
It was the first placing for Some Girls who has been consistently sitting Just behind the placegetters in her starts since joining the Reilly yard from Brisbane based trainer Tony Gollan.
