Locally Grafton trainers have been having their fair share of success and John Shelton looks like he might have unearthed an up and coming star in the highly promising Highland Force.
The mare has now had four race starts for three wins all of which have been recorded at Coffs Harbour.
At the last Coffs Harbour meeting Highland Force stepped up in distance to 1008m and also had to overcome the outside gate.
Ridden by Grafton apprentice Grace Palmer Highland Force raced outside the leader in the run and quickly took control of the race at the 300m.
Although a little green when under pressure after the 200m in the end Highland Force raced away to score a very impressive victory.
